Point to Point Bridges

I have fitted many IP camera systems, they have all been plug and play but have a customer looking cameras bridged from an out house back to the Nvr in the house.
I was wondering if anyone had any info on this or what is the best way to go about it I have a fair idea on how to wire it all etc it is just the configuring of the links which would throw me a bit.
