I noticed this camera had lost its feed. I went into my nvr to see what was going on and it stated "Network Unreachable" there wasnt anything i had done to it as im aware of anyway.
I got up the ladders to check the camera out connections all that stuff. 3 IR lights seem to be constantly lit but there is no issues from what i can see from the cables.
I check the nvr poe ports and camera 1 network lights are not flashing. I then try another port and still nothing. I Disconnect the cables...

We have only yesterday seen the first reference to this feature in the brief notes to the latest firmware for the -I Series NVRs:
Latest HikVision Firmware for -I NVRs - new V4.1.65 (76XX, 77XX, 96XX NI-I)
e.g. it should work with -I Series NVRs running firmware V4.1.65 or newer...

How to get an event or a callback from camera when its alarm input is triggered?
Hi,
I connect my IP camera HIK DS-2CD3145F-IS to external motion detector. In WEB->Configuration->Event->AlarmStatus, I see Alarm status “On” by motion. I can get this status through ISAPI too: ISAPI/System/IO/outputs/1/trigger. Now my question – how I can get event or set callback by change alarm status? I don’t want ask the camera alarm status every second but I need camera event if status changed.

Hikvision hard drive woes
Been having some issues with my Hikvision DS-7604NI-K1/4P NVR
First, my hard drive stopped working (displaying not exist), its been rock solid for around a year, so I tested it in my pc and all seemed well.
In the end, I bought a new replacement HDD just to eliminate that, still didnt work with the new unit in.
it sounds like it's not spinning up properly, so I tested the power supply into the HDD, steady 5v and 0.7a - which according to my limited experience should be ok.
I have now got...

Recording stops after my SD card is full.
Hello, I bought Dahua's imou g26ep ip cam one month ago but I have issues with recording on SD card. So, I have 64gb kingston sd card in my imou cam and imou g26ep I have set it as continuous storage, It records 24/7 but when card get's full, recording stops and I have to format sd card manually. It says on user manual that oldest recording will be replaced with newest afer sd card get full, but in my situation it just stop recording, In my settings I marked "overwrite" option but still it...

I was going to purchase Dahua starlight cameras for their low light performance but a few people I've chatted to rate Hikvision.
Does anyone know what is the best Hikvision POE camera would be to fit the side or above my front door to cover approach to my house. I'm obviously after the best quality for both day and mainly night time. The approach doesn't need to be further than 10m max with probably 2.8mm focal length.

Hi I have scouted the net and cannot seem to find what I'm looking for.
I am looking for a CCTV system that I can put away in cupboard. Connected to ethernet if required and cast/stream to the TV.
I use Chromecast all over the house and have an android TV.
I also have hardwired network in the house with ethernet socket in each room
I do not wish to have the DVR connected to the TV because of all the associated camera cabling would be messy to get to the lounge.

One of the features of this doorbell is a notification system via the Hik-Connect iphone app. Every time somebody stands in front of the door, i receive a notification. There are adjustable motion detection settings and you get a thumbnail and short video for each event.

I seem to be having the opposite problem to many. I can view the cameras on my macbook using iVMS-4200 but they are listed as offline on my android phone.
The system we have is configured as follows:
Main router in house connects by "point-to-point" microwave to a router in the barn. The router in the barn has not changed but we have just switched the main house router to EE home 4g (previously BT homehub5). I can connect my mobile and macbook to the barn wifi and the camera system...

Hello everybody. Recently I did a comparison of 5 Dahua cameras, each based on different image sensor. While most threads here concern Hikvision cameras, bear in mind both brands use same sensors in many camera models. Hopefully, this video might be helpfull while choosing security equipment.

Hikvision PTZ smart tracking duration settings - help please
Hello everyone
We have a camera DS-2DF7286 with smart tracking. It works ok but does not track for long enough. If someone walks down the street it will track them for about 5 seconds then moves back to home position instead of taking notice of what the person is doing. I cant seem to find any settings on how long it tracks for. Could someone please point me in the right direction.

Hi,
I tried to unbind my C3W from a previous account (of someone else i don't know). I get error code 99994 after username and password.
I did reset the cam and connected to utp cable.
What does the error code mean? How to solve this?
I use the 3.11 version
