After Enabling Rotate/Corridor Mode for one of my Cameras the Live View appears Squashed in the Hik-Connect App

I have an issue in that even after all this is done, using a mobile app like iVMS or HokConnect doesn't work for rotated/corridor mode. It still displays it in portrsit and the image is squashed and looks odd.

It looks fine on the local or web browser live view though.

Any ideas?

I have used hikvision DVR 4Channel. i installed ivms my mobile then i registered my device my Email id and added my device successfully working fine. Last week how to deleted my dvr from hik-connect. i tried to connect same Email id and password account is open but i scanned my dvr serial number its said operation failed. The device is added by other users. how to solve my problem please help any one

No live view

Hello
Am trying to access my NVR remotely on a browser and am able to view all the cameras but unfortunately one of them shows "no live view". When i try log into that specific camera am able to access it, How do I fix this such that am able to view it with the rest of the cameras

iVMS-4200 manual upgrade novice query

Having downloaded it, I'm trying to install iVMS-4200 v3.2.0.10 over v3.1.1.9 manually in Windows 10 running in emulation on my Mac but I don't have a clue about Windows so I'm stuck at stage 1.

The installer says that the User Data Directory already exists and wants to clear the contents first. I say go ahead and it fails, telling me I need to clear it manually. So I go looking for this folder and can't see anything Hik related which calls itself Data Directory.

If anyone could tell me...

Camera not showing in live view?

Recently purchased a Hikvision DS-7608NI K2 8P NVR and three Colourvu cameras...not too failure with the software yet but had no problem setting up only have two cameras connected at the moment but all has been working fine until i decided to add another HDD so after switching back on i could only find one camera in the live view yet the image is visible under individual camera setup yet only one camera image appears on live view and if i try to add either of the operating cameras it just...

Problem with password on HiLook

I'm having a few problems with my new HiLook DVR. All my cameras are Hikvision by the way. Anyway, I went to go into the menu but was presented with nine circles which I had to make a shape. I vaguely remember setting this a few weeks ago when I was testing the DVR but I've forgotten what it is now. Also, I thought the default password was 12345, that didn't work either. I've tried to reset the password by going to SADP but for some strange reason, it timed me out whilst I was in the process...

Hi Guys,

I have been digging around and trying to get motion detect working.

Here is what i have:-
NVR DS-7608NI-K2 8P with various cameras connected all working ok except the one i really want (Onvif) motion detect to work.

It used to work some time back (maybe a year or two) i always thought that the camera had gone faulty on the motion detect side of it.
Since changing it over for the exact same replacement to my surprise that doesn't work motion either, i am trying to work out if the...

Camera has stopped working some reason

I have got one of those HD IP POE cameras located in a bird box. The camera goes straight into the back of my DVR. I have seven other Hikvision IP POE cameras that are also working with the DVR and they are perfectly okay. However, yesterday, when I switched my PC on and opened iVMS 4200 the camera was down. One of the little circles was greyed out and said the camera was disconnected. I put the camera into another port on the back of the DVR and now none of the little circles are greyed...

Can't decide on 4CH K1 NVR or 8CH K2

I keep jumping back and forth between the 4 channel and 8 channel NVR. At this moment in time, I only plan on fitting two cameras so the 4 channel woul dbe sufficient enough but after reading that users have managed to upgrade the 8 channel K2 varient to the V4 firmware, I'm tempted to pay the little extra and go with that.
The L2 varient seems too expensive for my needs.

I'm pretty certain I want to run with the 4MP ColorVu cameras.
Any thoughts?

Recordings and live view without audio?

Hi! I'd like to know why the recordings are muted because when I play them I can't hear anything. Is it possible to enable audio? In video and audio setting is enabled as VideoAudio so everything must be okay. Audio only works If I turn on my microphone. Is it possible to enable audio without having to use your micro? I mean to hear what is happening without being heared. Thank you. PD: It's a Hikvision IP Camera.

I have installed 2 4k Hikvision cameras that work perfectly

I bought a new camera which is active and working on the NVR but when I go to live view it on screen it only shows previous 2 and get an error message "no more IP camera allowed" when I try adding it into the view page but shows up active in the camera management

Leds IR failure repair camera

Hi guys, I disassembled the minidome camera DS2CD2112F-IW because the light IR does not work. I have tested with multimeter all IR leds and I found 5 faulty leds. Other 25 leds are good. Where I find it the replacement leds?
what are the characteristics? voltage and wavelength?

Like many other threads on here, I found my new DS-7608NI-K2-8P unbearably loud. It has a channel well technologies PSU (KSA-180S2) with a 12v 5A rail, a 52v 2.5A rail and a really noisy 40mm fan, and then a second not-quite-as-noisy 40mm fan on the case.

Everyone has a different sensitivity to this sort of a noise so I've seen some people say it's fine, and that's great for them. But mine was shut in a thick walled cupboard with a heavy tight-fitting door, and it would still be loud...

Looking for a camera to stream a church service

Hi all, given the current climate, I've been looking around a lot for IP cameras to be able to live stream a church service. I've seen the Mevo camera which would work a treat, but is portable and I wanted something more permanent.

There are many cameras on this site, but honestly, I'm getting myself in a bit of a tiz. I have some questions i'm unsure about

Ethernet cable

Anyone know in the UK places I can get external ethernet cables from, looked on the usual ebay, Amazon but where do you peeps get yours?

Anything I can get quickly is only internal but not sure how long that would last outdoors in UK weather.

Need to run PoE from camera to house. All my other cables got from eBay but now they either asking too much £ or can't deliver fairly quickly or sold out the sizes I need.

Interesting Hik Connect feature

I can't believe I haven't noticed this before. One feature in the app allows you to disable alarm notifications (NOT push notifications) for whatever reason - for example, you are at home during the day when normally your NVR schedule would cause line crossing/intrusion alarms. If you disable alarm notifications and forget to re-arm them, the app resets at midnight and re-arms the alarm notifications.

With work at home lately, I find myself having to disable alarm notifications so I am not...

Hikvision camera "Network Unreachable"

I came on to check out my cameras and have noticed one of them is not online. It and 2 others are directly connected to my nvr.

camera model - DS-2CD2185FWD-I(S)
Nvr - 7616NI-K2/8P

It is not showing up in sadp when i plug my pc into another port on the nvr, nor are the network lights flashing on the back of the nvr.

I have tried plugging it into another port in the nvr and also my pc but still nothing. I re-checked the footage to see if it had been hit or whatever but it just stops...
