Hi
I cant tell with Hikvision I use its confidential. I ordered them via a Special Company so pls dont ask further Question about.
I fight with Hikvision the want me to buy there Pc with there Software on who is not neccecary because the Software run on any PC if the sell there HW Dongle...
So I looking a way around with legal stuff. I found the iVMS-4200. Does anyone here use that?

The system is working has been working fine since I got it and set it up.

A new problem today - when logging into either my NVR or any of my cameras, I.E. asks for the usual name/password. But then it immediately pops up another box asking for the login credentials again, as shown below. Then when I go to almost any tab or function, it asks for them again. If I hit Live View, it asks for them again, then when adding each camera to the Live View, etc. I.E. is on the latest build, and Web Components have been updated. Anybody ever see this? It makes it extremely...

Hi all,
I am new here .I was trying to update the latest firmware for this Hikvision DVR model DS-7208HUHI-K2/P..
atm I have the Current Version V4.20.000 build 181107..
The reason i try to update it was ,i cannot see camera live view when I use web browser IE
I install the LocalServiceComponents. but it was not successful, only I can view live when I use IP Acusensce camera, when I sign to this camera of ip address
I though the problem was a old firmware, so I decided to upgrade using...

After Enabling Rotate/Corridor Mode for one of my Cameras the Live View appears Squashed in the Hik-Connect App

I have an issue in that even after all this is done, using a mobile app like iVMS or HokConnect doesn't work for rotated/corridor mode. It still displays it in portrsit and the image is squashed and looks odd.

It looks fine on the local or web browser live view though.

Any ideas?

Hi,
I'm looking for a Hikvision video intercom system, which I want to integrate into my current Hikvision camera system. My current system is working with "port-forwarding" and doesn't rely on Hikvision servers.
For the Hikvision Video intercom system (DS-KD8003-IME1)...do I really need to use Hik-Connect?...or does it also work with port forwarding?

Hi.
I have a DS-2CD2385G1-I purchased from USE-IP. It has an SD card fitted and I use the iOS app and the iVMS4200 software on the laptop to view the recordings.

The camera is really good but I cannot get motion detection to work. I only want to be notified if anybody walks onto my garden or comes to the door.

I have attached some screenshots of the settings from the camera configuration page so somebody can hopefully tell where I have gone wrong.

hi, just wondered if anyone has come across this issue before.I have two wired cameras on the front of my house covering the drive etc., .now most of the time these work fine but in sunny weather like we have had the last few days,as the sun moves from the back of the house towards the front the first camera starts to black out for about 2-3 seconds then come back on for about the same time.later in the afternoon as the front of the house gets more sunlight the other camera starts to do the...

Hi all,

This time looking for a poe camera to go on back of house. To save yanking up carpets and boards, I decided best route was to run cat 6 cable into loft then to outside wall. Problem is it is around 20feet high. Everything is in place and as i need to carry out maintenance on fascias, soffits and paint wall the scaffolding is going up on Wednesday this week. Hello everyone, i am new to this forum. Apologies if I am positing in the wrong section....
I need your help please : I have a flat in Spain where i have installed 4 IP cameras with a local NVR. The issue i have is i struggle to replay the NVR recording remotly.
I can access live view with no problem.
My question is : can i access from the UK the IP cameras, and record on a local NVR here in the UK? In order to make replay easier....

Hi everyone,

I have a HIK camera DS-2CD2542FWD-IWS mounted outside above the front door (55 feets away from the HomeHub) and the WIFI seems to be very poor.


Inside the camera, under the arrival of the câble there is something which looks like a mini 4-pin connector unless it’s the antenna itself... If this is the antenna, I've never see such antenna..
(On the user guide they say "Wi-Fi Antenna" but is it the antenna itself or a connector to connect an antenna?)

I have a Hikvision Darkfighter DS-2DF82231-AEL on the my house which occasionally gets stuck and I have to manually put it back to the preset position I had the camera fitted by a profesional company I have some knowledge of how to set up camera but it is limited and was wondering if there is an easy fix I can do myself thank you

Hi I have a 7608mi-i2 nvr with 2tb hdd installed, I also have readynas 104 with 4x6tb hdds,

on the nvr is option of net hdd, i created a share on the nas, with 2tb (i think) and the nvr finds it but it wont do anything with it it just beeps and displays offline??

can this work? have i got a setting wrong i cant seem to find any info?

any help greatly appreciated

Hi guys, new the forum, hope every1 is well
Ive pretty much givin up on getting my NVR on hikconnect
Ive gone through the pinned thread: All seems correct
Ive tried everything
Ive pinged the server dev-hik-connect.com Worked fine
I used telnet, it displayed the blank screen as it should
I just cannot get the Register status to go onto online no matter what i do
Would really appreciate some help
Im sure you guys will want some screenshots, just let me know what you want and im happy to...

Hi newbie here,

We are looking for a 12 camera install for our domestic property (well that's what we have been recommended). We can't choose between the accusense or dark fighter hikvision cameras and which nvr to go with.

My car was stolen off our drive so I've become security mad. Used to have sleepless nights after the event for about 18 months. Our drive is approximately 6m deep onto our road and our back garden approximately 8m deep.

I have read the info about both cameras but...
