HIk NVR and Multi-Screen mode only accepting substream
Hi all. 2wk old NVR7608 just did something 'new' today by giving message bottom right of browser screen of "Multi-screen mode only accepts live view and playback at sub-stream. For any other stream type, please switch to single-screen mode."
I understand what is means but why has this just started appearing (no change to firmware, etc) .. and its making me think I have accidentally changed a setting?
I can go to single screen view and get main-stream or 4x screen and see 4 cameras on...

Problem with black & white list
I have a problem with the camera model: DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZS/P frimware: V5.4.7 build 180309
When importing a black & white list, an error occurs: file format is not supported.
EXTENSION IS (.XLS)

Issue with playback failing from certain time
Strange problem I got my cameras and NVR setup a couple of days ago and everything worked fine, recording playback emails for motion detection and remote viewing via the HikConnect App.
Last night I got a couple of alerts and was able to view them on Playback in the app and also via a Browser. Then from around 7am in the morning I cannot view the recordings either in the App, via a browser or when actually downloading the file itself and playing back on the PC. It says video not supported...

I have 3 sites (A,B,C) , each site has one DVR and 16 cameras. If I place each site on a separate subnet below and vlan will site A be able to see site C’s cameras? or does all the sites need to be on the same subnet?

resize NAS disk partition?

i have freenas with a 4TB disk with 3 "partition" (zfs)
i would like to reduce 2 partition and create a new one without losing what was recorded.
since each partition need to be "formatted/initialized" by the camera, is it possible?

VR camera Port forward settings for remote live streaming

I need support from you regarding setting up port forward setting on a router and stream the video feed through a URL link.
I have tried setting up port forwarding on the Router as well as on IP camera link also but nothing seems to be working out.

Hik connect cannot get online
Hi guys, new the forum, hope every1 is well
Ive pretty much givin up on getting my NVR on hikconnect
Ive gone through the pinned thread: All seems correct
Ive tried everything
Ive pinged the server dev-hik-connect.com Worked fine
I used telnet, it displayed the blank screen as it should
I just cannot get the Register status to go onto online no matter what i do
Would really appreciate some help

ivms4200 no view in event managment

I have dvr and 4 camera made by hikvision. I have configured successfully device via hikconnect.
Live view and almost all stuff works fine. I have a problem, when i try to manage events, set crossing line detection etc. online(p2p cloud, hikconnect). I got blank ,gray screen like in the attachment. Problem disappear when I am connecting to dvr by lan network.

I'm running a couple of 2CD2345FWD and I've just updated to the latest firmware - V5.6.5 build 200316, hoping it may fix my issue.
When I originally set up the devices, I was able to see the streamed picture to allow setting up functions like crossed line etc.
I want to adjust the settings as some events are being missed.

Hi all.
I am looking for some CCTV recommendations for a typical semi detached house.
Would like atleast 4 cameras (2 front 2 rear) but if possible an 8 channel recorder to allow for future expansion.
Adequate street / house lighting at front for decent night footage. Starlight / colourvu etc would be a bonus to add some night colour to the footage.
The driveway is roughly 7m wide by 10m long.
The garden is rounghly 7m wide by 40m long.
Ideally wanting decent quality footage that could...

I want to record a time lapse (one photo every 30 minutes for 7 days). I cannot find anyway in the settings to do this. Is it possible? Can anyone help me out?

Email Setup with Hikvision DS-7604NI

I have managed to set up the email notifications on the NVR, even though I have selected attach pictures, no pictures are being sent.
I read somewhere, that it's worth setting up the email notification on the actual IP camera itself. However, when I select "Test" I get the following message "The network Gateway is not configured. And this may cause the failure of email sending"
I'm not sure what else I can do. I have selected the less secure apps on Google.
