hi everyone, do you know how can I control the second relay on main door station (DS-KD8003-IME1) ? From iVMS4200 I can set 3 passwords but all these passwords controls the first relay on main door station.
Also I do not see in the iVMS4200 any option to associate a PIN/password for first relay (door) and a different one for second relay (door)
I would like to know how can I control it over the SIP protocol.
My setup involves no indoor station(s) only the main door and asterisk and...

I have a Hikvision hybrid DVR which generates very proprietary MP4 files. I can get these on to a memory stick and therefore on to my computer but I cannot find any software that will convert to a more standard format. Ideally I want it to run on a Mac but I would settle for a Windows product running on a vuirutal machine if necessary. The only Hikvision software I can find is all in chinese.

Hi Guys,
I've had my CCTV system installed for years now but this week 1 of my cameras lost connection and I can't seem to figure out why. I have 3 cams connected via POE to the NVR which are working fine, the issue cam is connected on the LAN via powerline adapters and a POE injector at the camera end.
If I webview the IP of the issue cam I can see live view working OK, the issue is that the NVR no longer sees this camera.
I've updated the firmware from 5.5.5 but still cannot view it on...

Hi there, is anyone able to run me through some basic troubleshooting on this....
I have set up an Intrusion Zone Smart Event. When testing the zone-there is no notification Smart event alarm (in the gui).
Nor is it displayed in the logs as an Intrusion? it is however being marked in red as a smart event (in red) in playback mode.
I have set up linkage to surveillance centre
I’m using firmware 4.2
Any ideas?

Hello
I bought the DS-KD8003-IME door bell.
I was able to get it up and running (and updated) and changed the netword protocol to SIP because I don't want to have a hikvision indoor station with its limited functionality.
I then made a SIP server with FreePBX, witch only the ulaw and x264 codecs enabled. Afterwords I set up some softphones with only those codecs enabled.
I changed the IME1 settings to call the correct extension and connect to the sip server.

I've just been trying it out and it seems to contain plenty of bugs while also ignoring the Mac GUI.
It won't let me resize windows manually by dragging a corner. On my 5K (5120 x 2880) monitor (27in iMac running High Sierra), I am forced to choose an app window of either 1680 x 1050 or full screen with nothing in between. Unless I'm missing something.
I'm also peering myopically at tiny interactive buttons which all look the same (even when I change my screen resolution to 2560 x 1440)...
Any Mac users happy with iVMS-4200 v2.0.0.10?

Hi guys
First post on here, some great info. I have read up on guides that has helped with fov, resolution and all the various pro n cons to different designs. The problem i am having is picking something that has a good android app and a reliable browser.
I know hikvision would be the ideal choice but, seems even reviews on that are hit and miss? Did they fix the dns problem?
I will be looking at 4-8 cameras 4mp upwards but i am not too struck on that at the moment, i do have a desktop...

Hi all, been using iVMS 4200 VS and quite liking it particularly on playback / smart events. HOWEVER for some reason i had to uninstall/reinstall. Now when I start it and try to login it says "the user does not exist" or similar. This true when trying ADMIN (and default of 12345 and 123456) and also Super User. I have uninstalled/reinstalled a couple of times but same issue exists.
Anyone else had similar or can share fix?
Interested in use of VS compared to full-blown and if its worth the...

My cameras are connected directly into the ports of the NVR and I always use the NVR to access my cameras but I now want to via a Browser.
The equipment I have is using the follwoing IP addresses.
NVR ... ... 0 ..
Cameras ... ... 254 ..
Router Gateway ... ... 0 ..
3 cameras are Plug and Play and 2 manual setup but SADP shows only the NVR when I run it from PC.
So, with total confusion I have done the following.

I have fitted many IP camera systems, they have all been plug and play but have a customer looking cameras bridged from an out house back to the Nvr in the house.
I was wondering if anyone had any info on this or what is the best way to go about it I have a fair idea on how to wire it all etc it is just the configuring of the links which would throw me a bit.

all works fine. But the outdoor station is making noise all the time with the speaker. Like a interference signal in the 90s. This is a good example:

I have a small Hikvision setup that has been working for many months without a problem. We have recently moved house and therefore I've been slowly installing the system again at the new house. I have a mixture of cameras that' I've bought over the years and so far, the ones I have installed are all working as expected, with exception of my most recent DS-2CD2385G1-I. Hi, I am about to purchase 4 IP Hikvision Cameras for my home. I was originally looking at 6MP Darkfighter Turret Cameras but reading up on this I have been it appears the Darkfighter only helps with night time imaging if you have another light source or efficient light in the area the Camera is looking at. So Now am I better just buying 8MP DS-2CD2385FWD camera which doesn't support Darkfighter or should i look at the new 4MP ColorVu Cameras which has the extra light to give better night...

I'm making this plea again, because every day we continue to get calls and enquiries about "odd" issues, features "not working", cameras "gone faulty", cameras that have "gone offline", no longer being able to see video in my App, on my Mac, in IVMS-4200, in my browser, etc.
95% of those callers own HikVision systems.
50% of those callers are what you might term
disbelieving when told they need to update their firmware.
Especially if it's a young female member of my team that gives...

Hi,
ivms-4500 HD updated on my Android today to v3.4.3. I can now only access one of my three cams. Two give the error "no more user can be logged in". I have tried removing the config for one of these cams and reading but the same issue persists.
Anyone else having this?

Just to let anyone with a PTZ in the R7 Family that there has been an update to the firmware.
Looking at the release notes, there doesn't seem to be many changes just looks like improvements with the cam when connected to the Hik-Connect app.
